In addition to sending individual missionaries to Uganda and Kenya, GPC recently sent a short-term missions team to Corozal, Belize from June 9-16, 2007.  Working with Mission to the World (MTW), the team helped build an addition to Cornerstone Presbyterian High School in the mornings and ran an afternoon children’s ministry at Concepcion Elementary School.  We were tremendously blessed during our time serving in Corozal and thank all of you in the greater GPC community for your eternal support.

Please continue to pray for Mark and Samantha Summers, MTW’s missionaries to Belize, and for Steve and Susan Miller, associate staff who give so much on their own time for the various short-term teams.  Pray also for those we met in Belize — in particular, Deacon Christiano Guadalupe Pena of Cristo Del Rey Presbyterian Church.  And finally, pray for us – GPC’s short-term missions team 2007!   Pray that even after our return to Saint Louis, we may never forget the lessons He taught us and the people and persons and personalities we encountered overseas.  May we return to the missions field one day and actively support those who go even now.
